Or maybe he didn't want to go to a school that he couldn't win at. Believe it or not money isn't everything.

I hope that was directed towards the OP.

If you believe that, you're retarded.
Everyone knows a school tries to save face by saying the job was never offially offered in the first place.

Do you really think he turns down $15m? Makes more sense that he didn't have an acceptable offer of $15m. They probably talked about a much lower money to him.

Vandy wanted Malzahn and they wanted him bad.
But the "$3 million" number was ALWAYS crap.
If it ever existed, it existed in the realm of "go undefeated, win the SEC East, win the SECCG, win the BCSCG, and graduate every one of your players summa cum laude" bonus land. Which, at Vandy, pretty much meant it was a pretty number with no meaning.

Vandy did not offer a guaranteed 3 million, it was like 1.6 million with 1.4 in incentives.
And he said no. Vandy absolutely put an offer on the table, to believe they did not is pretty hilarious.

His agent is Sexton?
Have fun with that.

Sexton's fingerprints are all over the 3 million number

Schwaaz, I'm not trying to call you out. It's not like you're the only one here that has no clue as to what they're talking about.
Ross, the numbers you're working off of are old. The top end remained $3.0, but the guaranteed amount each year moved well north of $1.6 yesterday.

You didn't read my post did you? I said no way he turned down $15m. He didn't have an accepted offer of that much.

Doesn't this sound eerily familiar to something we've been telling Auburn fans for quite some time?
