the only highlights they show from that game is timmy tiny weiner tebow's 2 tds. and 1 was a qb sneak from the goaline.

What was the name of Ohio State's QB? At least I remember Leak's name.

Us Gator fans remember the nearly flawless game he performed that day.

sure that isn't jay barker? i mean, the guy threw FOUR passes during the NC game... it's shocking people would forget such a dominating QB performance.

Krenzel.

Troy Smith was not the QB for OSU in 2002. I thought the topic was NC-winning QBs.
Krenzel! That's right.

This thread is the equivalent of LSU fans bragging about Cam having no passing yards when he played us.

maybe not forgotten, but probably most underappreciated. All every talks about is tebow's "2 national titles" and how he won it all as a freshman. That was leak's team. Tebow came in in spot duty and ran for 4 yard touchdowns and picked up tough yards on short yardage situations. Was he important? Hell yeah, he played a key role in the season. But make no mistake Leak led that team and he got them to the title. And no one even mentions his name.

i just wonder why people give tebow credit for being a goaline running back and saying he won the natl title for florida

Craig Krenzel
Jay Barker
Darian Hagan
Shawn Johnson
Eta- Charles Johnson may have been the
QB for Colorado instead of Hagan

There was NO possible way we would have won the title in '06 without Tebow.
Nor would we have won it with without Leak. Our defense got us to the BCS game. Our offense AND defense won the title game.
I remember fans boo'ing in '06 because of the offensive plays. Yep, the OC was Mullen.

People forget about Tee Martin all the time. They think it was Manning that won a NC at UTk, but it was really Martin.

Whenever I watch old Craig Krenzel highlights, it amazes me how much he reminds me of McElroy. Actually Craig Krenzel was probably worse than McElroy. Man, that guy sucked. It was painful watching him at QB.
