2 stadium upgrades in 4 years that adds 20,000 seats will do that

The revenue boost from a national title season is considerable.

Arkansas grew by 22%. That's pretty killa.

There's also evidence that Ole Miss and State should combine their programs.

This is why its so hilarious when you hear people bitch about coaches' salaries. Saban is massively underpaid. We've just been printing money the last few years, and enrollment is way up. Everyone loves a good bandwagon.

Nailed it. They would be halfway decent, so long as Mullen was the coach.

I wonder what tOSU's net profit would be if it didn't support 36 varsity sports with our football program.

You realize he makes $2,000,000 more than any other head coach in the country?

Hell only 22 of the 120 coaches make more than $2 mil.

That's actually just "revenue". The OP mislabeled his thread.

I think.

And I wonder what my salary would be if they paid me more. Probably #1, I'm sure.

I am pretty sure Arkansas "breaks even" every year due to Title IX.

We're all in the same feminist-ruddered boat.

I kinda sorta did. The article states that Alabama is #1 in profit but #2 in revenue.

From what I understand, the profit is turned over to the university and is not kept by athletics. At least that's the case for LSU.

Alot of that revenue is donations and contribution money. For Bama last year, it was $29.6 M. For LSU, it was $31 M. After winning the NC, I can imagine that number sky-rocketed for Bama.

Here's the net profit part:
quote:

1. Alabama – $44.0 million; 31% profit margin
2. Georgia – $11.7 million; 13.3% profit margin
3. Florida – $11.3 million; 9.7% profit margin
4. LSU – $7.7 million; 7.0% profit margin
5. Arkansas – $6.3 million; 8.0% profit margin
6. Vanderbilt – $4.2 million; 8.4% profit margin
7. Tennessee – $4.1 million; 4.0% profit margin
8. Kentucky – $3.4 million; 4.3% profit margin
9. Mississippi State – $1.8 million; 4.9% profit margin
10. Auburn – $1.7 million; 1.8% profit margin
11. South Carolina – $1.7 million; 2.1% profit margin
12. Ole Miss – $0; 0.0% profit margin
