Well, it's his decision. I hope he picks us, but in the end, it's all about what he himself wants to achieve as a college QB:
To come to LSU and compete for a BCS Title next season, or go to Arkansas & complete for a 3rd or 4th place finish in the SEC West.
His choice, I guess.

He was a last minute switch to Arkie mostly due to the relationship he struck up with Damien Williams.
Then Williams jets for USC in all that Nutt, Broyles, Malzahn, Springdale stuff.
The only Louisiana guys that Arkie got that I'd have liked to have seen at LSU were Joe Ferguson (Shreveport) and Anthony Lucas (Tallulah).

His JUCO coach wants him to explore all of his options. I can't blame him if he does actually go on this visit (which isn't scheduled right now).

Yeah. He has looked really solid in practice at QB so far. We run a lot more of the Pistol formations with him in. I think you will see us trending more and more that way in the next couple of years because Mitchell and Allen are both pretty mobile.

I wouldn't be that surprised if Mitchell eventually transfers due to him being behind Wilson on the depth chart. This could explain why we are recruiting Mett. Would suck because I heard Mitchell running the option out of the pistol in practice is nasty

Joe Ferguson was an "all world QB" in 69 from Woodlawn HS in Shreveport and seemed to be a lock to Charley McClendon and LSU...but Frank Broyles told him that he could pass all time at Arky and LSU ran more than passed at that time so Fergy went to Arky....but LSU had to settle for a QB from Ruston that year...Bert Jones...

His Coach is the one that wants him to go on this visit. If he commits to Arkansas, that coach better bunker down in his house because you know there's gonna be a bulls-eye on his head

Seems like Mett has a smart coach to me.
