I'm still waiting for ONE person to say "I had a conversation with Cecil/Cam and they asked me for money." Not a 3rd party, "source," etc.

Two unidentified sources “who recruit for Mississippi State” were cited in an ESPN.com report late Tuesday that alleged Newton and his father, Cecil Newton, talked about a pay-to-play plan when he was recruited by MSU. One of the recruiters, according to the report, said Cecil Newton told him it would take “more than a scholarship” to land his son.
We'll find out who these guys are soon enough. Just sit back and relax.

Everyone involved has lawyered up and isn't going to be saying anything. Once the FBI gets involved your fricked, your sister is fricked (which means your wife if your an auburn fan). No one with first hand knowledge will say shite.

No, but he is not impartial either.

This ONE person isn't going to come out to the media nor should they. It's going to come out to the FBI and NCAA.

Actually he extremely impartial. His show from Atlanta doesnt go to MIss. so you would not know but he is pretty even keel.
I think he needs to see the light but he is good.

Chuck Oliver Bio
quote:
Chuck Oliver is one of the toughest things to find in this city -- a born-and-raised, true Atlanta native. After graduating from Central Gwinnett in 1986, Chuck then attended Auburn University, where he earned his degree in English and began teaching and coaching football. In 1992 Chuck was hired at South Gwinnett as defensive line coach. During his five-year tenure at South nine different linemen received scholarships, playing everywhere from Auburn to Georgia Southern, from Georgia Tech to Eastern Kentucky. At the age of 29, he “retired” to become a full-time writer and author, penning three books and literally hundreds of magazine and newspaper articles and feature pieces.

Used to listen to him when I lived in Atlanta. He was at 790 the Zone at that time and was one of my favorites there. He's VERY good at covering college football, but he does have a small Auburn lean which I expect from him.
