I just cant feel sorry for the Boise and TCU teams of the world when they dont play any top ranked teams. Boise has been good for a few years now plenty of time for the AD to change the way they schedule games.

Oregon is the only one I can say that would deserve to play Auburn. But if they were to loose and LSU won out I couldnt see why LSU shouldnt go.

What happens when LSU Win out and Auburn loses to Bama and they lose to Probably Florida in the SEC Championship. Will any SEC team go or None

My guess is that someone besides LSU or Auburn would get in because the voters who believe the SEC is the best conference would probably split votes in the human polls allowing TCU in...

With all the attention to the fact Boise State and TCU never gets a fair shot, I doubt a 1 loss SEC team will get there before they do-I don't think they will let it happen!!!

TCU looked pretty good but Boise not so much. I think both teams will get blasted by Oregon.

If I had to choose I would much rather LSU represent the SEC if it's against Oregon. I don't have too much confidence in that Auburn defense.

At least they don't have TWO byes through throughout the middle of their schedule like Boise

Even after you lose in the SECCG? For the millionth time, Oregon's defense is not better than Auburn's, and Boise/TCU have just as good of a schedule as Oregon.

not even close to true.

Oregon's sos is 36 average. TCU sos 62 and there are only 117 D-1 A teams. Boise sos 72.

in the future games remaining, Oregon will pile up computer points

Oregon has games left with 3 teams in the 30's.

Boise has one, with #22 and one with #77.
TCU has one with #100!! and another with #44.

in your scenario, LSU would be #4 in the BCS at the least.
They would be guaranteed a spot in a BCS game, but not necessarily in the champ game.

Florida would be in the Sugar. If USCe wins the SEC champ game, I would expect LSU to play USCe in the Sugar.

If Oregon loses to Oregon State, (unlikely due to RB/WR injury), and Auburn loses as you mentioned, its quite likely that LSU would play TCU for the national championship.

dont hold your breath. Its great that LSU has a lot to play for, and winning is obviously the key. ITs not a sure thing to beat Ark at Ark though, is it?

If everything else were equal then I'd think LSU should go

But everything else is not equal. LSU had their chance and lost the game

I don't think Boise should be eligible for consideration considering their lousy schedule but I won't try to argue LSU was jobbed when they fairly lost a game they knew they had to win

You don't win your conference, you don't go. Fairly simple really.

that was then and this is now. more recent precedent would be Michigan not getting that second shot at OSU.

Call me a hater, but I think TCU would beat LSU, Auburn, and Oregon.
Boise? Not so much.
If someone trips up, get ready, because TCU will win it.
