Alabama is not an elite football school by todays standards.

In fact LSU and Florida are in a class by themselves. LSU and UF have two national championships, Bama has one. Now I know you gumps like to brag about all the mythical championships you claim to have won. But you did not win those on the field. They were awarded to you by geeks (not unlike yourselves) that can only write about sports, but for the most part have never known what actual competition is. LSU and Florida won theirs in a National Championship Game. Bama won one, and Bear Bryant has zero. But he did quite well in Miss Congeniality-like contests.
So STFU about all this "elite" BS.

How many times has LSU and Florida finished the season undefeated in the last 50 years? I'll give you a hint. It's two less than Auburn has had during that same time period.
