LSwho!
the dumbest "insults" i've ever heard from sec fans.
honorable mention: the 2008 florida shirts that said "you may have won the national championship but, you're still gator bait". dumbest shirt ever.

other than all the people here who frequently talk about auburn chop blocking? it's not an uncommon discussion during the last few football seasons.
I'm well aware that people have talked about it in the past few years. Ramsey did it to Dorsey and claimed it was accidental. He said it was a miscommunication and the other OL shouldn't have engaged him high. Ramsey went low and I can't remember the other guy right now, but he went high when he shouldn't have and it resulted in a chop block on Dorsey.
My point is that since that happened, it's been the cool thing to do to claim Auburn's OL is dirty, they're taught to play like that etc. That's just stupid. No OL coach is going to teach anyone to ruin a career. These guys work too hard to stoop that low. If a chop block happens, I really have a hard time believing it's intentional or there is intent to injure. I think it's almost always an honest miscommunication between two OL. If someone can prove to me with video evidence that Auburn's OL(Pugh in this case) has repeatedly intentionally tried to hurt people, be my guest. I don't think you can do it.
These kids have too much respect for the guy across the line of scrimmage to intentionally ruin a knee. They absolutely would not want someone to do that to them, so I just don't see how anyone could do that to someone else intentionally.

Looks like the OG was supposed to cut him, and the DT was in the middle of trying to engage the C who was backing up to avoid it becoming a blatant chop.
Pretty borderline.
This was my thoughts. DT was just fast as shite off the ball. Our center did not want to engage and the cut happened before he was engaged high. It was nothing like the chop on Dorsey
Dorsey block, which I can't find video of for some reason..

It looked pretty clear that the whole line was cut blocking except the center, who just looked like he had no idea what to do. My question is, who cut blocks in an obvious passing situation? That would give your QB no time to find any receivers unless it was a screen.

HAd tehy run a drag route, it would have converted since the whole DL was on the ground.

pretty much this, it opens up massive passing lanes

Chaz and the center hit Dorsey at the same exact time, but you guys swore up and down that it was intentional just to hurt Dorsey.
Not even close.

Nope...sorry not a chop block. Low-High is not a chop block. Has to be High Low per the NCAA definition.

Yea. They chopped blocked an Auburn lineman on purpose to try to hurt him at the very end of the game. Try to do better than that next time.
Did it ever occur to you that it was a quick pass and the purpose of the low block was to get the D lineman's hands down?

Not true. They changed the rule in '08 to be either way.

Auburn lives in a glass house and continues to throw rocks.

Unintentional, but yes! it was a chop block. I think the refs were too busy laughing at our offense.

I'm glad you pointed this out. When Chaz chop blocked Dorsey, other Au linemen were cutting their guys too. That's why i said it wasnt intentional, just a missed assignment
Just like the LSU chop block. I have no doubt that it wasnt intentional, just a missed assignment.
