So you were stupid enough to believe the word of Shorty "Napoleon Complex"/ inveterate liar ShortyRob - that I was an alter.
So tell me. Just how much of a dullard are you??
And do you get your rocks off posting the help board link?? Pretty pitiful, but would expect nothing more from someone of your (low) class.
Did you ever consider my help board post was purposely written for the benefit of an administrator -- so I could get rid of shithead ShortyRob, who was following me in every board and lying about me being an alter - because he was pissed off at me because I had showed he was a dumb arse in several postings ??
Naw, that's way above your perception ability.
As far as this post, do you think that someone who uses the wrong pronoun is going to be sentenced to a year in jail - the same penalty that is prescribed for operating an unlicensed nursing home?? Really??
The citation you need is the same one I used to get the statute provisions I gave in my post - which is a link given in the OP article. Wait, don't tell me you didn't even look at that statute before you responded to my post ??
Go look for your own lazy arse self.

This is the penalty provision of the Act:

CHAPTER 3.2. Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly [1569 - 1569.889] ( Heading of Chapter 3.2 renumbered from Chapter 3.3 (as added by Stats. 1985, Ch. 1127) by Stats. 1988, Ch. 160, Sec. 91. )
quote:
ARTICLE 4. Offenses [1569.
40 - 1569.495] ( Article 4 added by Stats. 1985, Ch. 1127, Sec. 3. )
quote:
1569.40. (a) Any person who violates this chapter, or who willfully or repeatedly violates any rule or regulation adopted under this chapter, is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine not to exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000), by imprisonment in the county jail for a period not to exceed one year, or by both the fine and imprisonment.
It's a maximum of one year (actually not to exceed one year) for violation of any of the provisions of the act. There are literally hundreds of provisions under the act (including operating a facility without a licence}.
Do you think the sentence penalty for using the wrong pronoun is going to be the same as operating a nursing facility without a licence ???

What a complete bullshite post. You act as though the law was enacted for the sole purpose the LGBT provision and the the one year punishment is solely for the instance when an improper pronoun is used - both based on a typically bullshite Townhall article.
The one year maximum jail penalty is for a violation of any number of the provisions of the California code governing Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly.
No one is going get a year for using the wrong pronoun.
You're a twat.

No it certainly isn't . It's exactly how the Obama Administration played with the numbers the entire time they were in power.
My guess is that without the bogus disability claims we all know happened from 2008-2015 the UE rate would have been double what it was.
Obama didn't play with the unemployment numbers - that's just a Republican wives' tale. The unemployment numbers under Obama were figured the same way they always were.
As far as disability claims, the standards for disability were the same under Obama as they were under Bush. Obama didn't change the standards - that's another Repub wives' tale.
Disability claims alway go up during recessions, since the out of work are searching for other means of support. Yes, disability claims went up during the 2009-10 recession, but that increase was exacerbated by severity and length of the recession, and the fact that American workers were aging, and therefore more susceptible to conditions that would qualify them for disability.

For sure, just like accellerated depreciation in the 70's + 80's was not real growth
But if they take away interest, prices will come down and housing starts starts will fall - and the GNP will take a hit for probably 2 or 3 quarters.
Can't have that when you are selling the big tax cut that big time increases the deficit, because you claim the resultant GNP growth (3%) will make up the deficits caused by the tax cuts.

And even, as is the case here, the response doesn't even come close to "making your point".

Yes, it does. But it's a constant distortion. If they suddenly cut the deduction, real estate prices will decline, and new housing starts will fall, and the GDP will take a hit.

Perhaps the US Attorney's Office prosecuting the Enron cases was so very motivated by hate that they risked a future reversal on appeal just to get a slam dunk conviction today using faulty jury charges?
Its hard to know how the jury charges in Enron got through without seeing what position the defense had taken. But, the faulty jury charge dealt with intent and was pretty clearly wrong.
I think political motivation of prosecutors may have an effect on their action during prosecution, but I believe self interest is even a bigger factor, especially with Federal prosecutors. They get noticed by big name convictions, which move them up in the ranks and also feed the political ambitions that many of them have (e.g., Chris Christie).
