Was telling my Aubie brother in law how dirty Fairley was for tackling JJ too hard, he responded to STFU b/c he claims we chop blocked one of their DTs during the game. Anybody seen this or even heard about it?

Was it called? There are prison escapees on the field who watch for that sort of thing.

Ole Miss had a chop block in our game over the weekend...

Tackling too hard? If Jefferson doesn't like it he should learn how to roll over instead of standing tall and exposing his entire body to being thrown.

there was an obvious chop block on the last play by lsu when they screwed up. You just dont see AU fan crying and moaning about it like LSU fans did when Chaz chop blocked Dorsey

someone needs to upload the vid if it happened just to shut these lsu fans up

I didn't see one... if there was, it certainly wasn't Ryan Pughesque.

chop blocking is legal last I checked.

As is hitting the QB hard.

From what I saw Fairley was legal every hit.

Although LSU was holding him every single play. He made LSU's interior line his bitch.

You may want to re-check that.

Cut blocking, however...

pretty sure they're the same thing Dale.

It just matters where the helmet goes as to how legal it is.

Also if the player being cut/chopped is already engaged with another player.

idk that's what the coaches always said. Guess they were using the wrong word.

I mentioned the chop block, and provided a link yesterday, but no one bit. The 4th and 6 play is at 7:25. Blanc #93 is chop blocked on the play. It wasn't a particularly bad chop block, but a chop block none the less.
