that really wasn't that strange at all. the season itself was strange, but the math that put LSU in wasn't at all

probably the fact Bama was #1 and had beaten two teams ranked in the top 10 at the time before.

Maybe, maybe not. Nobody will go from 19th to jumping over a #1 ranked team after they beat them, unless it's a 28 point win or more.

How do people that claim to be football fans, in the SEC at that, not know the answer to that.
Just because you beat a team doesn't mean you are better than them overall.

So you are saying if a team not in the top 25 beats #1 team they should be in front of them? Does not work like that.
