Depsite receiving interest -- and some scholarship offers -- from many schools, Sanders said he is considering Alabama, UCLA, Florida State and Oklahoma State.
Sanders said he has recently spoken with Alabama coach Nick Saban, who sold Sanders on the success of other Crimson Tide running backs.
"He told me they get a lot of television exposure, and how Ingram winning the Heisman has a lot to do with it, and how their last four freshmen running backs have gotten some solid playing time," Sanders said. "That's very good to hear when you want to play early and make a contribution to the team." Link to Article
Last season, he had 30 touchdowns and nearly 2,000 yards of total offense as a running back for Heritage Hall, a private school that will play in Class 3A (Oklahoma's largest class is 6A) this season. He was on the field about 95% of the time last season because he also played cornerback and was the punter.

Too bad we can't bribe this one

Luper played with his dad and we can't even make his list.

Yes, you would think Okie State would have him in their back pocket already- but the lure of playing for a legit national title contender is strong. The fact that his father was a legend there doesn't ALWAYS mean a school is guaranteed of landing a player.
Anyone remember this kid named Peyton Manning?
You still have to think Okie State- but.....

Not as much as one would think. But if he doesn't go to Okie light, it will be somewhere else in the Big "12".

Good point. And you know he probably wants out of his dad's shadow and to make a name for himself. What better way than to find success at another institution?

yeah, I dont think he is as big of lock as everyone thinks he is. Why would he want to go play on a mediocre team instead of a really good team? Just because his dad went to OkSt? I am not buying it.

Ended up at Tennessee because Ole Miss got hammered by the NCAA, if I remember correctly.

Yeah, that would actually be accurate.

I think the title is pretty accurate, since the thread is directed towards questioning the liklihood that he ends up at Bama. If it had said "Barry Sanders Jr to Bama!!!!!!"... then it would be misleading.

It's not worth arguing about. I just mentioned it and X acted like a child.
