I think this might actually relate to the continuity of mind issue, but I just wanted to make sure I wasn't assuming anything.

because it's not an issue of what he thinks, but what he is claiming as fact. i was just pointing out that he is wrong. i would never call what was obvious someone's opinion wrong, because by its very definition an opinion cannot be wrong.
