1. Tebow was just THAT good.
2. Florida's recruiting has been overrated.
3. Urban ain't all that as a coach.

They've lost a lot of elite coaches along with elite players.

Their current players are still talented, but the loss of all of that elite coaching is hurting.

All of the above.

Urban should have stayed retired. The one other non tebow year they were mediocre.

When you have a good run, juniors who shouldn't leave start leaving and you forced to work with younger and younger players.

So we see now that Urban isn't all that he's cracked up to be but it still might be premature.

this is the price Florida/Meyer is paying for building an entire scheme around 1 player.

it'll take some time, Florida will be totally fine... long as Meyer doesn't leave.

Tebow was that good along with some skill players being gone. Should be interesting how good of coach UM will be without Tebow. He got lucky with getting a player like Tebow his first year.

uhh....

2 national titles and an additional undefeated regular season, then he is down at half to USF and you say he's not all he's cracked up to be?

Down at USF after being manhandled in the first half of a narrow win over a MAC team. There's a reason Meyer faked that heart attack.

Way too early. You can't expect to play at a high level when you lose your OC, DC, and perhaps the best player in college football history, among other things so close together.

so you're saying looking like shite in a win, and now being tied is reason to wipe off all he's done at UF the last 5 years?

No. I'm saying that his performance over the next couple of years will erode away at the glorious image that he built over the previous years.

Not gonna lie IDK who their OC/DC were for those years so please tell me. Oh and they had TEBOW for both years they won even though Leak was starting for one.

Pertinent.

Same thing happened to USC/Carroll when his staff was lured away for the most part.
