Heard Musberger state during NC game that Bama hadn't been called for holding in something like 46 straight regular season quarters. Don't subscribe to many conspiracy theories, but NOBODY'S that good. Is the SEC protecting Bama and Fla?

'95 Nebraska didn't get a holding call all season. Were they not that good either?

when you get beat, you hold, just human nature to not let the defense get to your QB.
95 nebraska, great example considering their hype
Look at nebraska texas Big 12 championship game, refs call plays in the favor that helps the conference, give Nebraska the win, and Big 12 doesn't make MNC.
I'm not saying UA didnt belong there and not discrediting what they earned last year.
But holding is part of the game, and to not have it called is because someone wants someone else there, its that simple.

obviously there wasn't anything blatantly obvious in order to warrant a penalty. Enjoy your obviously obvious statement of the day!
Refs are human, and they're not likely to just call something unless they see it and it was obvious. Other teams got away with several holds...I'm sure we got away with a few. so... :beatdeadhorse:
