Is anyone like me and tired of hearing about how great Ryan Mallet is gonna be. I am so sick of hearing about how Ryan Mallet could possibly win the Heisman this year and how Mallet will take his mediocre team to win the west in the best conference in college football. I think that come December no one will even remember his name. He will be in the same situation as Jevan Snead at Ole Miss. OVER-RATED Everytime Arkansas played a good defenense he was less than impressive in my opinion last year. Alabama destroyed him last year and I expect someone to give hime a season ending injury early in the season. Just ask Colt McCoy. It is hard to be the best when you have mediocre offensive linemen and a defense that ranks nearly last in the conference. So I think all teams will just run the ball for 4 quarters and Ryan Mallet will be sitting on the bench looking like the clueless fool he really is. The same way Erin Andrews called him out when he said "I told you so" after almost beating LSU last year in death valley. He will be lucky if he makes it thorugh Georgio on Sept. 18 without a game ending injury much less thorugh Alabama the following weed. Maybe they should have scheduled a bye weed. I don't think this kid has the mental capability to win the SEC west.

I'm tired about hearing all the QBs in the SEC in general. Ryan Mallett, Greg McElroy, John Brantley, Cameron Newton, Aaron Murray, Stephen Garcia, possibly Jeremiah Masoli, etc... All of them either suck, are overhyped or haven't proven anything yet.

Ryan Mallet is is going look like a Heisman winner.............. in the second half, while he racks up TONS of yardage against defenses, who are running straight PREVENT to avoid the big plays,not worried about the run game, in attempts to retain the 2-3 score leads they managed to rack up while eating majority of the clock up, pounding it down the throat of a weak Arky D.
So yeah, Mallet is going to be good.....in a way......kinda.

Not nearly as tired as I am of hearing how great Bama is, think about how many Arkansas fans there are, and then multiply that by about 20x and that's how it feels.

Nice informative post from a message board football "expert". You should quit posting your expert analysis for free because you obviously could be making tens of thousands of dollars getting paid for it.
Maybe if you change your attitude and improve your football knowledge Mallet might let you carry his jock strap when he is in the NFL.

I am getting a little tired of it as well but not nearly as tired of listening to gumps rambling on about anything......
