That is a surprise. We need to put the full court press on him now; I dont thnk things look good for Brown or Crowell. Hart amd Allen would be a good rb class though if Allen is healthy after his injury.

Why would he go to Michigan when he can come to Bama and win our 4th heisman trophy? Assuming Julio wins it this year and Richardson the next.

Wow. While I don't see him ending up at Alabama, even as a second RB in the class, this is odd. I figured he would pick Auburn in the end.

Alabama recruited Orlanda and Tampa very heavily under Shula. Guys like Javier Arenas and Marquis Johnson seemed to make it through the cultural change.

Well, we see why he dropped Auburn.

well considering we are after Brown, Crowell, Allen I wonder if that eliminates us as well.

I like Hart a lot better than Blakely.

He's a Michigan lock now.. He said he's about 75% committed to them.. I just don't see how he'd stick with Bama with y'alls depth chart stacked with good running backs and with all the ones y'all are going after. But FWIW, i just can't see Crowell or Brown going to Bama. I think they'll stay in state. And i'm praying we get Mike Blakely. It's between us, USCe, and Florida and i think he knows he'll play right away at Auburn and be a thunder and lightning combo with Dyer. USCe isn't a running back friendly team, and Florida's depth chart is stacked as well.

That's exactly why we need another high profile back. Ingram will be gone at the end of this year. Trent Richardson will be gone at the end of next year. Alabama needs a 4 or 5 star running back in this class because it will soon just be Eddie Lacey back there. Gotta think about the future.

As for Auburn, the Tigers signed one of the biggest running back prospects in the country in February in Michael Dwyer, that and the Tigers' interest in a pair of other running backs for 2011, Hart said, is why he narrowed the field. Auburn has no running back commitments currently on its board, but Hart seems to know something.
"Well, they said one didn't commit, but then I think the other one did," Hart said. "So I got Michigan and Alabama now."
Interesting for AU.
Also, says Michigan is 75% now that he has ruled out AU who did lead over Michigan a short time ago.
