Damn you I'm never wrong. Clemson takes care of business and heads to the finals. Great season for SC, but it will end short of the finals.

If we beat Clemson tonight, we will beat them tomorrow as well. We will have Dyson ready for tomorrow, and if he has any sort of performance like he did against Arizona St. then we will be fine.

Also, Clemson's bats are hot, but their pitching isnt near as good as Oklahoma's or ASU's. We should be able to get some good licks on them.

I think SC can carry this momentum to beat Clemson twice
I have watched every game and he and Purke from TCU are my favorite players in this CWS but he won't be enough to beat Clemson tonight much less twice. Sorry!

This occasion might even call for the creation of a Gamecock bunchie.

I took my crow in another thread, thank you very much. The coaches were hoping to get 3 innings out of Roth but I guess you knew that he was going pitch a complete game and give up only 3 hits, right?

If Carolina goes with any of their top pitchers, they won't have them for the championship series. Twice in a handful of days takes its tole...its what happened to us with Kilcrease. So yes, they might make it to the finals, but they'll have no shot if they go all out in order to beat Clemson.

Sorry, I just couldn't resist bumping since you decided to extend your analysis to the 3-game NCS.
