Wow it took a bulldog fan to find this. Key differences though. We have Petrino and WE love to live to expectations. You are right though you will be a hard game for us for sure. Georgia at home, first game of the SEC season. We come in and lay the wood to you all then we have Alabama at home. Two games, I can see a scenario in which we win.

Georgia is first though.

* And finally -- and almost fittingly -- Petrino and Arkansas are trying to do what Nutt and Ole Miss couldn't with more than a handful of key starters Nutt recruited to Arkansas.

i wouldn't say nutt recruited that many of our starters....infact i can only think of two off the top of my head.

What's not to like or dislike? What Ole Miss did last year has as much to do with what Arkansas will do this year as Taco Bell bringing out a new menu item. Nothing.

There's been a lot of talk from Hog fans on the board about them NOT being very similar to '09 Ole Miss. So, I naturally assumed Hog fans wouldn't like a writer to try and make a sound argument in the other direction.

Well, I guess we could turn out like Ole Miss this season but then again we could turn into a BCS team this season as well. Only thing is I believe Bobby Petrino will have his team prepared well for every SEC opponent we face. No more let go of the rope or the right reverend gets her done.

I really hate to play this card, but Petrino is infinitely better than Nutt. That's enough for me to look WAY past the Ole Miss/Ark comparisons.

Petrino is a fantastic coach and playcaller. Really no other way to put it, his offensive prowess puts almost every single other football coach out there to shame.

So what the guy is saying is it be really hard to win the SEC. This year 5 or 6 teams which could win the SECCG. It's that way every year. It's why SEC football is the best.

Don't really disagree, but he needs to actually beat Nutt on the field.

Nothing better than this year? It will be priceless to see all that spent energy gone after he rallies his troops for his annual Nutt bowl. I will be there just to storm the field afterward to take a picture of him. Priceless.

I've argued that for years. What Petrino did at Louisville was miraculous. Almost won a national title. He's a great coach.
