Yes please, I'm enjoying the entertainment. I don't know how losing 4 times is almost winning the national title.

So losing to Florida, Bama, Ole Miss, then losing your bowl game equals almost being national champions? If so could we get a list of all of the other 1-4 loss teams in the NCAA? Gotta be a long arse list of almost national champions

I'm not sure you got that math right. I see too many winning records. They should be equal right?

West Overall (26-22)
East Overall (27-21)

NOT POSSIBLE!

But what else to expect from an Alabama edumacation?

What has LSU done the last two years to expect anything different, especially with the losses along both lines of scrimmage.

WEST

1. Alabama 10-2 (6-2)
2. LSU 9-3 (5-3)
3. Auburn 9-3 (5-3)
4. Arkansas 8-4 (4-4)
5. Ole Miss 7-5 (3-5)
6. Mississippi State 6-6 (3-5)

EAST

1. Florida 10-2 (6-2)
2. Georgia 9-3 (6-2)
3. South Carolina 8-4 (5-3)
4. Tennessee 7-5 (4-4)
5. Kentucky 7-5 (4-4)
6. Vanderbilt 5-7 (2-6)

nice job. as likely as any other scenario, with Ark's fans hoping you are wrong. I will be rooting for Ark to beat Bama and have LSU the champ of the SEC west. I suppose LSU's fans are double-minded, half hoping to do somewhat better and half afraid to do much worse. I reserve you the right to not have to tell which teams beat the others, not now, anyway.
Do this again after summer practice. There may be one or two freshmen phenoms in the SEC who change a game here and there. We will have a better idea by late August.

Actually many people expect the OL to be better. Ciron ended up having his worst season and many disliked the interior line. Now it appears they a beefing up the line and changing out a player or two. Also this year we should have a more experienced depth chart as the OL group was young outside of about 2-3 guys. LSU had a lot of recruiting bust over a couple year span that finally caught up to last year.

Eventhough the DL loses a lot of experience the best guy IMO returns(Nevis). Also the DE position looks like it will feature some guys with more of a 3-4 NFL OLB frame.

I am not as worried about the defensive line as I think te group is going to be solid.

The OL is going to determine if LSU will be really good next year. If they can play to the level most expect typical LSU OL to play then we will be competing or Atlanta and a top 10 team. If not we will be a 8-10 win team.

Also LSU improved over 2008 in 2009. The team is definitely more stable now after dealing with RP, OL bust, poor DC hire.

This tigermike2004 guy is a disgrace to his elementary grammar teacher. Learn some punctuation and capitalization. How the frick does somebody get into college with some of this shite? He's also borderline retarded based on posts in this thread.

The reasons you list as optimism, are the very reasons people say Alabama will not repeat as SEC champions.

fans expect florida to go 10-2.but they will have a young defense.plenty of talent but young.then a new qb and new tight end.probable atleast 3 close losses and 4 in general.south carolina wins the east.georgia will be terrible.richt will lose his job.they lost alot of defense also.and dont read much into our spring game.we held players out of key positions and were vanilla.we have a good o-line,best wide recievers in the sec.michael ford will start at rb.we have 3 tight ends who could play.the best cornerbacks in the sec with peterson and claiborne.dont underestimate our lb.kelvin shephard didnt play in the spring game.watch out for kevin minter.we have better safetys now with chad jones gone.we will go between 10-2 or higher.get ready we have a storm brewing for the sec.miles will turn it around and then play that into leaving for michigan because they will come a callin at the end of the year.
