Seeing AB on TV finally, Baum still > Alex Box.
Every seat in Baum is a chairback seat, including the seating adjacent to the left field student section.
Alex Box is almost half bleacher seats.
Alex Box is full of ads, like every LSU venue. It appears to be still under construction, so maybe I'm judging too soon.
Baum has 34 skyboxes, too.
Just sayin....

You've only been on here a year? Seems like longer than that.

can't really get atmosphere of a baseball game from TV unless it's really crazy, IMO

I'm not going to argue with you about Baum. It is the top facility in the country. Overall you guys have the best facilities in the SEC from top to bottom. I agree we need to get rid of the ads as well in Alex Box and Tiger Stadium.

I'll take the Box, the outfield ads and the 6 CWS titles that go w/ it over the baum. It's similar to Oregon's great football facilities but dick to show for it. No tradition. And yes, hardware defines tradition.

I live in NWA and watch games frequently at Baum. Its better than The Box....for now. The Box is in its 2nd year; Baum is 8-10 years old? They make awesome improvements to that place just about every year. LSU will do the same and eventually will catch up to Baum.
The exterior of The Box is nicer in my opinion.
Also, other than Track and Field, I'm not sure I understand the love for all of arky's other facilities.

Why are people comparing the programs? This thread was about the stadiums themselves, not the teams. Everyone knows LSU baseball>>> Arkansas baseball.
As far as the stadiums, even if Baum is nicer, the Box looks a lot better IMO. And there's already plans to add more sky boxes in the near future, so it's gonna look even better when they fill in that empty space next to the existing suites where the skeleton is showing. Maybe that's what you meant by "it appears to still be under construction". In essence, it is. The Box is a work in progress, and it's already at least the second best stadium.
I do think it kinda sucks that we have so many bleachers, but at least they all have back rests. Plus with bleachers we can cram in additional people to set new attendance records, unlike with a set number of chair backs. I wouldn't be surprised if the replaced some of the bleachers in the future anyway.
I don't care for the ads. I don't think we need them considering how much money our athletic program raises, but either way, it doesn't really take away from the "niceness" of the stadium.
Baum is on slightly better at best. The Box will be better in the future.

"Our stadium has more chair-back seats than your stadium.
Our stadium has less advertising than your stadium.
Our stadium has more luxury boxes than your stadium.
Our stadium is prettier than your stadium."
Good for you.
Personally I think Alex Box Stadium is better than Baum Stadium because "Alex Box Stadium" is a cooler name than "Baum Stadium".
