It was rumored to be due to failed drug tests, but Idk.

I don't understand how multiple failed drug tests doesn't result in being cut

Oh yes ole Damien J. Bet most on here are clueless as to who/what/where about DJ. Another waste of talent this time from Carencro.

One Bama site said because of off-the-field actions that may have violated team rules and university and NCAA policy. Could receive up to one year suspension.

Damien went off the DEEP end to say the least. He had other issues besides drugs.

I wish I knew the guy's name that sat by me at the Saints/Vikes game so I could call him about this suspension.

He was a Minn. fan and Bama alum - what an awful combination and I got stuck next to him. He went on and on all game how Saban took Green from us and will continue to hand pick whomever they want from Louisiana.

Backwards. James was a freshman when Faulk was a senior. And he is high on the list of wasted talents.

Damien James was sick at Carencro. 6345 yards of offense and 8.44 yards per carry over the course of his career.

Don't know for certain what green did or his current status. Rumored that he failed 3 drug tests. He's suspended at this point. He played in the NC and saban would not have played him if he had failed drug tests. Plus, there was a recent recruiting article stating that green hung out with a junior recruit. If he failed that many drug tests in a month or 2 I can't see saban letting him hang out with junior recruits.
