I was having a discussion about LSU brand recognition with a co-worker...and it got me thinking (since this is a Bama-Barn site) about which one of them is most easily recognized.
I think Auburn's interlocking AU is one of the most recognizable logos in college sports...Bama's script A is pretty generic IMO.
what say the SEC rant?

because of arkansas' A, Bama's is not very unique.

Good question. The AU logo is more unique, but I'm sure the bama script A is more widely known.

recognition? it's a draw.
coolness? the word Auburn with the tiger eyes behind it is neat. I don't like alabama's currrent "elephant logo".

I am surprised by these unbiased answers....seriously

It seems like over the last couple years the University of Alabama has made an effort to put the script "A" out there as a way of branding... similar to the interlocking "AU". Examples being midfield at BD and midcourt at the airplane hanger.
I think it's a good move and a pretty cool logo... much better than their other efforts. With that being said, Auburn's interlocking "AU" is one of the best logos in sports.

TBH, I confuse Alabama's "A" with the Braves' "A" (without the tomahawk) for time to time. Gotta go with the Barn on this one.

I would say Auburn.
Here is a Bama hat and a Braves hat. Hard to tell the difference if you are not a fan of either.

The way to tell is to look for the little swoop at the top of the "A"...the one with the swoop is Bama...the other is the Braves...

Correct, first hat is bama..

Both are pretty cool logos IMO. When I see the script A i think bama not braves FWIW

This is not directed at anyone in particular, but is just provided for general information purposes only.
"unique
adjective
being the only one of its kind; unlike anything else"
Something is either unique or it isn't, and can't be "more unique", "very unique", etc.

they both are about the same I think.
I really liked the A with the Elephant coming though it.

The one I like is the elephant running through the A.
