"I mentioned the loaded aspect to refer to the fact that whoever we cut they're going to be good players".....no you didn't, you said other schools were using our loaded roster to negatively recruit against bama..."I would rather cut freshmen that are injury prone"....who might that be? Which freshmen are injury prone coach?..."I love Alabama, but we're not god and can't stay on top from here till the end of time"......who said anything about staying on top till the end of time?

just a hunch. I think there might be a few issues off the field there....don't have any links to prove that though.

Most of ya'll I'm sure are johnny-come-lately. I don't live and die by Nick Saban.
I've followed Alabama my entire life. I'm a third generation alum, and have two degrees from Alabama, so GTFO.
You're the idiot talking about "processing" kids that just redshirted, and have not even had the chance to contribute. For every Julio or Dont'a Hightower, there are ten guys that will take two or three years to develop. At this point in Saban's tenure, the guys leaving the program become less and less. At most, five guys won't be back in 2010. Most likely, those guys will be the lone holdovers from the Shula era, of which about 10 remain (and most have never even seen the field).

I don't know if Darrah will crack the rotation at JSU, they just signed the state of Alabama's Mr. Football and the Ivory kid that was the backup last yr is impressive. I heard good things about Darrah last spring but no much after that...as for guys who might jump ship at AU I am still not sure, we have 12 recievers on scholly and the top 2 from last yr return in TZ and Adams, add Benton, Blake, Stallworth to the mix and Reed, Goodwin, Kitchens coming in it's deep, hopefully they will be redshirted and add to the depth for the future. Any news rumors at the Capstone regarding Jackson??

Star Jackson isn't going anywhere right now. He's going to continue to compete for the back-up spot with A.J. McCarron and Phillip Sims.

I can't decide if this guys is an alter or just an idiot. I think I know more about Bama's roster than this guys. Obvious guys to go before Kelly or Lacy would be,
Demetrius Goode
Brandon Gibson
Jeramie Griffin
Nick Gentry
Taylor Pharr
David Ross
Milton Talbert
Alex Watkins

Exactly. Get rid of the Shula guys.
This isn't hard.

Demetrius Goode
Coming off shin splints. Has shown he can be a good 'back, if he can stay healthy. He was in Saban's first class, and will be a fourth year junior.
quote:
Brandon Gibson
Weight room warrior, and gets mentioned by Saban in PCs all the time, but hasn't seen the field much. In Saban's first class, and will be a fourth year junior.
quote:
Jeramie Griffin
Can be a great fullback, when we use that in formations, or H-back. Coming off a major knee injury. Was in Saban's first class. Should get a medical hardship.
quote:
Nick Gentry
Played in a number of games last year at both DT and DE. He won't be going anywhere.
quote:
Taylor Pharr
Fifth year senior that will compete with Tyler Love and D.J. Fluker for the RT opening.
quote:
David Ross
Fifth year senior. Back up at center and guard. Will compete with younger guys for open LG spot, or RG if Barrett Jones moves over.
quote:
Milton Talbert
Fifth year senior. Has been back and forth between Jack and DE since Saban has been at Alabama. Has seen limited playing time, all in mop up duty.
quote:
Alex Watkins
Senior that has seen little action over his career. He could never add weight to play LB in Saban's scheme.

Point is they, by and large, haven't seen the field. In how many years? That probably tells us something.

Of course he did. But for the most part, he didn't need to run anybody.
Most of them left on their own rather than play for that jug-eared sumbitch.
