2010 DT Brandon Ivory Received a Bama Offer

He's 6-3 330, supposedly recruited as a Nose Tackle. He's unrated by both rivals and scout at the moment. I imagine we will will receive his commitment along with Arie and Stone, and that will finish off the class. Assuming the beliefs behind Allen's visits are true.

Actually I was wrong, he was rated by rivals as a 3 star. Unrated by scout at the moment though.

Can you expound upon this? I saw where he was going with his half-brother to Clemson..but haven't heard about the outcome of the trip.

Everything I've heard is that he is still solid to Bama, just going on Visits with his brother.

I'm pretty happy about this, I was wondering why we weren't recruiting a big 3-4 nose tackle in this class what with Chapman and Kerry Murphy the only two I know of on scholarship.

He redshirted, but spent time practicing at both spots. At 6-5 315, I think he'll end up staying at NG.

Quinton Dial, 2009 signee who didn't qualify and ended up at EMCC, is up to 6'6" 330 lbs and is expected to re-sign with Bama next year.

What does this mean for Calvin Smith? Does Bama really only have 3 spots left? Both Smith and Menzie articles from Rivals said that they had a great visit to bama this weekend.
Also, it's looking more and more like Stone will be a Vol now that Kiffin and Orgeron are gone. You don't have to believe me, but that is the feeling Vols fans have got the last 24 hours from inside sources.
