You ever watch McCluster? Very tough runner between the tackles actually. You're basing your opinion off of a faulty assumption based on his size.

I watched Bama eat him up.

Then I watched him destroy UT when they got him the ball in space.

Considering those players fit the system their teams run better than Ingram would, why would they want him.
The blind homerism of believing the Ingram is the best running back in country and no one is close is well frankly idiotic.

70% of Bama's fanbase thinks TR is better already. What are we supposed to think?

And discrediting a Heisman winner, who plays for the reigning National Champion AND just blew up on the #1 rush Defense on the biggest stage (statistically) is not idiotic?

Please explain.

There is no way the Pac 10 had better run defenses than the SEC. Call me a homer all you want, but the stats are skewed because it IS a pass happy conference. Just like Texas had the "#1 rush defense in the country" , because no team they play actually runs the ball. Also, I watched Oregon run all over USC (who at the time was allowing only 1.2 yards per rush) and Oregon is an overrated run team.

Are there teams in the country that Mark Ingram wouldn't start for?

You usually post decent stuff, but this is fricking stupid. Have you not watched him run at all? He's already being compared to Emitt (how the hell do you spell Emitt?) Smith and Barry Sanders. Are you kidding me with this crap?

Damn they are defensive. It was a question, and like we all figured, the Bama fans reacted like we were making fun of Ingram. I agree w/ the OP, he is a GREAT back, but there are programs that he would not start at

How is it a discredit? There are teams and systems that those teams run that Ingram would not be effective. Although him playing for National Champion should have no bearing or I could make the claim of Ronnie Prude, Demetrius Hookfin being the best corner backs in college football, why? because they played on a national championship team.

McCluster touched the ball like 4 times against Bama and trust me when I tell you Ingram would finish with maybe 25 yds on 15 carries if he was Ole Miss' running back that day

Let's see.... Ingram has burst, strength, balance, explosiveness, power and decent breakaway speed.

Yeah you're right. He wouldn't start anywhere else.

Really is reading comprehension a problem?
The OP asked if they had certain teams he would not start for, the answer is yes they do have certain teams he would not start for and be as effective.

No one said anything about him not starting for any other team outside of Bama. He would be a great back for a lot of teams that run a similar system as Bama and 80% of the College Football Teams in the Nation.
