I was prepared for this to end badly.....albeit 4 or 5 years down the road. We should have seen the signs with the pilfering of other SEC coaches and the constant deference to the weak Pac 10 and USC. But I drank the kool-aid and was very pro Kiffin. This sucks.....

This is actually a good day for Tennessee - a great day actually. You don't have to pay his arse for firing him early nor honor his contract. The guy was absurdly a bad fit and embarrassing to Tenn and the SEC.

There is also a new number 1 team to hate or certainly a top 5 - what a loyal prick. Again, this was a great development in the long run for Tenn. They should go after Holtz's kid or how about Mike Leach - now that would be one hell of a hire.
And don't tell me he couldn't do the same thing at UT he did for TT.
