D-Mac for the versatility. Ingram is a far stronger runner, but D-Mac was pure excitement with the ball in his hands.

The Arkansas offensive was actually better opening up holes in the running game then Alabama's. Hell, McFadden's backup averaged two to three more yards per carry then him. The Arkansas OL played a much bigger role in McFadden's success then Alabama's OL has for Ingram. It's funny how pedestrian McFadden has looked in the NFL without gigantic holes to run through. Give me Ingram for the win.

I guess this shows everyone how important a team plays as a whole. If the pigs went undefeated in D-Mac's year then he would have the hardware.

His Junior campaign was even more even impressive than his Sophomore campaign, but the Tebow love-fest was too much to over come in his second attempt at the hardware.

Darren's teams having 8 and 10 wins didn't help much either.

Tebow scored 50 total TD's.

Hard to argue with that one.

D-Mac got jobbed by Troy Smith, though.

McFadden had more carries for less yards per carry. Both are excellent backs

I prefer Ingram.

Mcfadden was faster, but Ingram leading the country with runs of 15+ yards shows he has plenty of big play ability. I just love Ingram's violent style and his ability to break tackles. Mcfadden's legs go dead on contact.
