I love the guy - except when he is playing against LSU.

Wish we had someone like him at any position - smart and dedicated to the game.

shedding tears must be some sort of weakness to the street thugs on here who think it is macho to gang up on an old man and beat him senseless or to yell 'bitch' at any female who doesn't immediately spread their legs.

I would like for one of these street thugs to walk up to Tebow and tell him to his face that he is a pussy.

Like to see how that turns out.

I'd rather have players that either cry or get pissed when they lose than the clowns who go yuck it up with the opponent after losing.

Like him or not the guy plays with passion win or loss. It takes courage to take accept an interview on national tv after a heartbreaking loss. Tebow is a fine young man and a gamer; I'd probably be crying too.

He would probably turn the other cheek. That's what the Bible says to do. Of course if they hit the other cheek, the Bible doesn't have any direction about that situation. I always took that as a biblical green light to kick someone's arse.

the fact that he crys just about everytime he loses is what makes him a douche.

2 national titles, and a heisman.

quit crying.

Now I like that interpretation - I may use it in the future !!!!!

thanks

My dad was a preacher, so I had to grow up arguing the finer points of the Bible.

I guess 90% of you have never played in competitive sports in a meaningful game and lost if you think no one should cry. I'd rather my starting QB be upset and cry a little after a loss than laughing/smiling about it like it was no big deal or being a poor sport and acting classless (like Oregons blount).

Berndawg: Tebow says he misses the pillowtalk you and he shared prior to his arse raping you.

You know you're still in love with him. Just come clean, yo.

When you put so much emotion into the game that you're drained by a game like that, I think it's a good thing.

Sometimes you see guys in a blowout loss who get over the game before it's over. There is nothing worse than seeing a guy laugh on the sideline when he's down 20 points in the 4th.

Tebow leaves everything on the field every single game he plays and losing is unacceptable. Men are taught to never cry in any situation. Death is the only time it is seen as ok.

I want a guy who hates losing so badly that he reacts like Tebow. There is no quit in that guy.

He doesn't really cry each time. When he's lost games that destroy their season, he lets it rip.

You see guys do that all of the time when they lose in the NBA finals or the Superbowl.

Federer cried when he lost to Nadal recently.

Bruce Smith cried when elected to the hall of fame.

TO cries... always.

Tiger Woods cried after winning the British Open.

Jordan cried when he won his first title.

Favre... retirement boohoo... nuff said.

Dick Vermeil had a famous press conference.

Jeremy Maclin cried anouncing his NFL draft entrance.

LSU star "Big Baby" cried when KG yelled at him.

Cristiano Ronaldo cried when they lost to Greece in the Euro 2004 final.

You look at the guys who cry about the sports and you'll notice they're some of the best ever. The don't just play the sport, they live it.

A couple on the list don't count but I had to add "Big Baby" on an LSU site. Can't believe his teammate made him cry.

everyone on this message board is a bigger douche than tebow, including myself. people bag on him because he cries or because he is way over-the-top after a big play or big win. or because they think his charity work and Bible-thumping is just some act to boost his image. that may be true... it could all be a big facade. tebow might be the arrogant, egotistical jock people think he is. but he still goes on those mission trips, spends time with terminally-ill kids, tries to save the souls of prison inmates. regardless of the intent, he does those things. it's more than what you or i do in our spare time.

Nothing but respect for Tebow. Best player in CFB over the last 50 yrs. Great talent and competitor.

A lot of players cry after winning/losing. Just shows there's a lot of emotion involved.
