I've got a 19 L5P with 40K miles, mine has been doing this for about 5k miles. I've read on various L5P groups/forums that it is a bad tank sensor.
The sensor is located within the tank, so the entire tank must be replaced. Apparently this is a common issue as multiple people in these groups are discussing it.

At The Southern in Covington, they allow pets, fwiw. Further than I wanted to go, but it worked out.

I followed the steps I mentioned above, although my gel coat was in pretty good shape to begin with, I only compounded in bad spots. Then it was polish and hand waxed. I used the 3M Finesse It polish and Collinite paste wax.
I was very pleased with the outcome. This was done during a haul out two years ago and the sides are still holding up pretty well. Will probably do it again next haul out in the spring..
Port side polished, no wax

If you go the DIY route, this can be time consuming, but the results speak for themselves.

FWIW, I have never used an electric smoker, but will say as another possible option, look into a UDS (ugly drum smoker). They require minimal effort, and turn out some really good bbq. I built one, and used it for about 5 years, ended up building one for my BIL and father, both of them love theirs.
There is a thread on BBQ Brethren (link below) with an easy to follow photo by photo instruction on how to build one. All you do is control air flow to maintain temps and it is surprisingly easy to use, and does not need a lot of attention once "dialed in"
LINK
I really enjoyed my UDS, and its relatively small footprint. I wanted to expand my cooking abilities and just recently got into a custom built offset / stick burner, but I love "tending the pit" and nothing tastes better to me than all wood smokin'
Either way you go, enjoy it.

I sail out of SWLA and plan on doing some charters in the future too.
Emerald Coast Yachts in Pensacola is a charter company and sailing school. They do "live-aboard" sailing classes so you'll be able to learn and have the enjoyment of a charter in one. I have not used them, but the wife and I have considered chartering with them for a quick weekend get away.

My daughter is 10 months, and around 18 lbs. I am considering the infant one from Mustang Survival. I like their adult products. We have a mid sized sailboat, with all the things to trip over as she gets more mobile, I want something good. Safety is number 1, price doesn't really matter.

Almost went this route (Gator). Rich is a great guy, but delivery was gonna be ~10 - 12 months. I just didn't want to wait.
Went with Pits By JJ in Houston. Love my pit.
24" x 48" Main Chamber
Tuning Plates
22" x 22" x 24" Sq Fire Box w/propane log lighter
Along with a few other small options.
ETA: 65 lb pig I smoked this past fall.

We are small business in SWLA and an OEM of pressure control equipment. We've taken it on the chin starting in November of 14. Its been a struggle to hold on to the small number of employees we have. The other side is trying to get inventory dwindled down to a manageable level, and keep a supply chain that allows us the keep some of our ability to ramp up production if need be.
Its like going 80 mph on the interstate and hitting a dead stop. We always knew it was possible, but its a one foot on the gas, one foot on the brake business as a small manufacturer.

That is a site for sailboats, but that is a very thorough guide on compounding / polishing / waxing. I don't know how much work you are wanting to do, but that will certainly make her look like she just rolled out the factory.
I did my boat following these steps recently and it came out great. I used:
3M Rubbing Compound
3M Finesse It Polish
Collinite #885 Fleetwax
Have fun!

All the time. Thats not a bad price to have access to boats. More than likely, you'll meet other sailors with lots of opportunity to crew on race boats, which is a great way to learn.
Roger, I recently bought my first "big boat" (cabin / galley / multiple systems). I had considered something in that size like that picture, but some major factors like standing head room, inboard diesel, more creature comforts persuaded me to move up to a larger boat.

I've been working on a playlist of some downtempo/lounge and I guess other various varieties of stuff mixed in. Some of my recent favorites...
Audiofly - 6 Degrees (Tale of Us Remix)
Badbadnotgood - Fall in Love
DJ Cam Quartet - Rebirth of Cool
Fila Brazillia - A Zed and Two L's

Kid Loco - Flyin' on 747

Sofa Surfers - Sofa Rockers - Richard Dorfmeister Remix
Thievery Corporation - Saudade Album
Water - In Cuba
Bonobo's Late Night Tales mix is awesome too.
