on the Heisman this year. All three are great players but after watching the Ut Tam game . I think McCoy will and probably should win the award. He is a phenominal player. I know it's one game but

C. McCoy 24/40 304 7.6 4 0 &
C. McCoy 18 175 9.7 1 65

is

Ingram and Tebow still can prove their worth Today and tommorrow but McCoy's going to win it and will be deserved. So all you barners can crow for 1 more year about Bama not having a Heisman winner.

I would have no problem with Colt winning the Heisman. But let's see what Ingram does against the mighty boog defense today before we make conclusions.

McCoy wasn't the best QB on that field last night. Johnson had more passing yards and hella lot better completion percentage.

McCoy will win it. Not only because of phenominal numbers, but because he should've won it last year and this year will be a make-up vote.

FWIW, he deserves it over Ingram and Tebow anyway.

He also has better season numbers than McCoy.

all due respect, i don't understand the hype of ingram or any other running back since OJ or HWalker. ingram is very, very good. Solid, but he's not heisman worthy.

in my opinion, it should go to TT, again. i'm not a huge fan of the guy. but he's the epitome of college football and athletics. ingram is not. and, neither is mccoy.

it would be a farce if anyone but TT received the heisman. period.

seriously, put your homer glasses away. TT is/was the best college player in the past 15-20 years, if not all time.

McCoy will get majority of votes out of the west
Tebow and Ingram will split the south and east
Ingram will get the majority of northern votes b/c he's from MI.

I don't know why there is so much talk about it anyway right now.

It is, and has been, a popularity contest for years. Whoever the media decides to boost in the next week or two will win it.

Throw the numbers out and look at the story lines, then you'll come closer to the reality.

1. Mark Ingram- Why he might win- a. The "Alabama has never had a Heisman winner" story line has been brewing for weeks. I have read several sources who have stated this as amazing and many even feel it is a travesty. b. Ingram is winning and doing well despite the trials and tribulations of his father's incarceration. this has been mentioned numerous times. C. Ingram is from Flint, Michigan. A town in depression that needs and wants a hero. The same town old Michael Moore is from that was featured in George and Me. It is a feel good story.

IF Ingram has a good week or two, he will win on media hype over McCoy or Tebow. If you haven't paid attention to the media machine, you aren't paying attention to the real story. I'm not saying it is right or wrong, but that's the way it is.

McCoy shredded the 100th ranked defense in college football. Sadly, the Aggies pretty much did the same to Texas' D.

Ingram can make it closer with a good game today. McCoy will win the Heisman.

Tebow doesn't deserve even being mentioned for the Heisman. In fact he doesn't deserved 1st team All SEC.
