Have you ever lived outside of the south? Having lived in a number of places out west I can tell you so many of those people hate the SEC and they hate SEC fans and they are convinced the SEC is corrupt and cheats like crazy.

Of course, I'm only relating personal experiences.

I know Cali fan disagress, but I'd argue it until the day I die if we can include Texas.

I love the cold rain and snow at Oregon, Oregon St, UW, WSU.

USC, Cal, UCLA have beautiful weather yes but not the conference as a whole.

Some of these stats are skewed. When it ask SC fans who they think their biggest conference rival is 84.5% of them said UGA where as only 0.5% of UGA fans said SC was their biggest conference rival.

Of course SC's by far biggest rival, Clemson, is out of conference and some even hate UNC more than Clemson or UGA (the Gamecocks who live in the state of NC mostly) Only being in conference since 1992 the only SEC team we played prior to that was UGA in which UGA usually dominates where as UGA has been rivals with conference opponents UT, UF, and Auburn for decades upon decades so of course the SC-UGA fan base rivalry views are going to be lopsided.

USC has never ever done anything against the NCAA regs. Not with Reggie Bush or OJ Mayo. USC is as corrupt as Bama, Auburn, UF, LSU ect.

"Best Stadiums"

I would agree with everything but the stadiums. IMO the Big Ten has some of the best stadiums in the country.

Penn State (Happy Valley 100k+)
Ohio State (The Horseshoe 100k+)
Michigan (The Big House 100k+)
Wisconsin (Camp Randall 76k+)
Michigan State (Spartan 72k+)
Illinois (brand new renovated 70k+)
Iowa (Kinnick 70k+)
Minnesota (brand new state of the art stadium)

the top 3 are no doubt good, but overall ill still take the sec

ut 100k plus
ua 100k plus next year
uga 92k
lsu 92k
uf 90k
au 87k
sc 80k

also, the sec is averaging 97.6% capacity in all stadiums this year

Hm... I followed that link and found the SEC fans' views on rivalries. After looking at the numbers given, there's a couple of fun trends.

For the following, assume 10% to be the cutoff point for acknowledging a rivalry. If one-in-ten can't see an opponent as a legitimate rival, it's not a rivalry, plain and simple.

First off is a chain of five schools whose rivalries are all mutually acknowledged. That's Georgia - Florida - Tennessee - Alabama - Auburn. Each dash in the chain is a rivalry, and arguably the most heated rivalries are in there (mainly because they're all mutually acknowledged).

After that is a chain of six schools who have rivalry ties to the above five (not mutual). Those are South Carolina [Georgia], Kentucky, [Tennessee], Vanderbilt [Tennessee], and LSU [Florida and Alabama]; also on the chain are Ole Miss and Mississippi State, on the basis of connecting to that line through the Magnolia and Egg Bowls, respectively.

Then you have Arkansas, who feels like LSU and Ole Miss are rivals when the other fanbases don't see it that way.

So basically, Georgia - Florida - Tennessee - Alabama - Auburn are the big clique, the other six are the rejects of that clique, and Arkansas is the reject of the rejects of the clique.

Sorry, it's Golden Boot week, I had to.

Although I agree that the Big 10 has some great stadiums, gotta agree with the SEC stadiums on this one. MY OPINION IT'S THE FANS THAT MAKE THE STADIUM AND THE SEC IS HANDS DOWN THE LOUDEST IN THE COUNTRY AS A WHOLE.
EAST
- UT- 100k+ ( pretty loud at times but not the best)
- UGA- 94K+ ( hostile crowd when the're having a beter season).
- UF- 90K+ ( always cosidered one the best in college football, very loud)
- USC- 75K+ ( not a bad atmosphere, can get loud when they need to)
- UK- 70K ( ehh? Rupp is cool)
- VU- 50k+ ( um... well you already know)

WEST
- BAMA- 101K+(2010) ( loudest i've ever heard BDS is been this year as a whole, Tenn. game was crazy, but one of the best venues in the country)
- LSU- 93K+ ( death valley is damn loud, fun armosphere, i have friends there, just saying)
- BARN- 88K+ ( loud stadium, not the best looking)
-UM- 63K+ ( not that loud, students do throw a lot of whiskey everywhere though, so kind of crazy)_
- ARK- 75K+ ( i've heard it can get loud, but whoo pig just isn't intimidating imo)
- MSU- 58K+ ( cow bells are freaking annoying)

But all in all imo this conf. has the best atmosphere/stadiums in the country as a whole conf.
