They have contacted about scheduling a game with us for 2011 I think but I hve heard nothing about them contacting him to be their coach. He won't go anywhere.

Yeah,Saban has a history of saying NO to opportunities. Once he makes a committment,he's a man of his word.

Hey - anybody know what Saban's buyout is? I'd imagine that Alabama would put in a lot of protection given his track record. I would think Saban wouldn't leave Alabama based on that alone.

You guys keep praying he will listen to and consider every opportunity that comes along like he did while at LSU. Last year on this site it was supposedly UW. All the butthurt need to give it a rest until something credible happens. You attempting to start a rumor on TD's SECrant is sad and pathetic and really just speaks to the level of butthurtness of many of you.

We need a butthurt emoticon on this site.

The only places I'd be worried about him going would be back to LSU and Penn State.

Anywhere else, and he'd just be stupid for leaving.

I know this will offend some people, but when Bama is rolling there aren't any places better.

It is interesting that he has absolutely NO BUY OUT. He can walk at any time with no monetary consequence.

In Charley Weis's case, if they fire him, he is gauranteed 10-15 million. If Saban had (lets say) a 5,000,000.00 buy out, ND would have to pay off Weis, and pay 5 Mill to Alabama. Becomes expensive for the "wanting " program ,and helps Alabam secure Sabans position at least a little better than they can without a buy out.

Yeah: Saban's agent has been inquiring around with some $$$$ figures and if their would be an opening at ND. Mr. Weiss is on his way out there and Nick would love to bring back ND to its glory years at such a prestigious university with a rich football history. Supposedly money is no problem. Heck even the Pope might kick-in a few Mill!
