It was a low kick that, if Cody doesn't block, Julio knocks down. All that is academic, however, as if no UA player had touched it, it would have gone wide left.
It has been a bunch of hand-wringing over nothing.

I know it doesn't matter now, but if you find a view from behind (on TV), the ball is pulled left and will not be good. Doesn't matter.
that was obvious from the pic but thanks

Thats one of my good friends. He cut the lining out of that hat so he could put minis in there to sneak them in the games. I was actually sitting a couple of rows up from him.

Last week in the Vandy/Georgia game Vanderbilt was penalized for "leaping."
Leaping is an obscure call for sure, but appears from these photos that McClain could have been called for it on this play.
If he lands on the UT player under him, it's a 15 yarder.

I saw that as well but it still doesnt diminish what he did twice. Kickers kick low a lot of times not all get blocked and had he not been 3 yds deep when he blocked it I could understand your point. The only point you have now is I want ot diminish anything the kid does because A either I am insecure or B my hatred for anything Bama leads me to be unable to be objective in any way. Either way if he played at LSu and did this he would have been your hero as well.

My God your hatred is amazing. Watch the video. No one fell on the snapper.

Hatred? You're barking up the wrong tree.
Here's the photo is was referring to:
If he doesn't land on the players below him, then it's a good no call. Where's the video showing this angle?

does it really mattter dude?

The video clearly shows that no one is landed upon. Different angle is not going to change the fact that neither Roloando or Julio did not land on someone. Regardless, to my knowledge, that rule has been called once in a SEC game I've watched, and that was the 2004 LSU-Auburn game.

Not to me, I have no dog in this hunt.
Then again, I'm not the one who started a thread with photos of all the angles of the block.
It would never have even crossed my mind without these photos.

It was called last week in the Vandy/Georgia game. I watched that game and thought it was a weird call. It was the photos here that made me think of it.

Auburn game.
this has to be BS because according to CPA Bama is the only one who gets calls

Long kicks ARE low...
Don't waste your time bringing logic and facts to this one. Some of the people on this board will go to any length to discredit anything Cody does. Tiffin's long field goal was extremely low because 50 yards is about as far as he can kick. UT could have blocked it if they got penetration, but they didn't. Cody and Dareus collapsed the UT line on both blocks, and very few non UA fans want to acknowledge that.

It looks to me that there could have been 4 potential defenders that could have blocked it.

A-hole! The point was UT fans can cry all they want, but it was a HORRIBLE kick. Wasn't a crack on BAMA at all, it was a great play. But insecure d-bags like you make me hope that we destroy you in two weeks.

Everybody who is pissed off that Alabama pulled the game out, wipe the sand out of your vaginas and worry about your own team's next game. Tough... shite....
