Which fan base(s) seems to have picked up some...

delusion recently? Given the way this season has played out thus far which fan base seems to think their team is the "it" team?
To me it is a tie between Arky and LSU. Arky fans seem to be a lot more cocky since they beat AU and LSU seems to think they are going to pull the West even though they have play so sloppy...Don't get me wrong I do believe Arky is on the rise I still think LSU is on a downward slope...my opinion...anyways what do you think?

Auburn b/c of all of the recruiting commitments and 5 stars they've been picking up recently. Oh wait....

But that's quickly changed... even though Alabama fans are the root of all evil and nobody compares to their delusions of actually even thinking they stand 1/4 of a chance of even finishing the regular season undefeated, in addition 'Bama fans are delusional for thinking Saban will ever have a winning season at 'Bama... give any team a brief taste of success and the delusional thoughts quickly skyrocket beyond belief.
AU got a taste of it from 04-07 and the vast majority of their fans called for Tuby's head (which ultimately worked) for posting his first losing season since 1998.
Italicized words notes vast majority because I'm sure several Barnies on here will deny they ever called for his head.

Honestly most of the fans seem to be settled into the season. I think most everyone seems pretty logical at this point. Any of the delusional ones didn't pick it up just recenly, they've been there all season.

Have you been reading the Tiger Rant lately? If you read most of what's being talked about, you'd think the Tigers are 0-6 and don't have a snowballs chance in hell of winning another game.

Yep and those who were delusional earlier.. Ole Miss pre-season, Auburn after the 5-0 start... have since been humbled.

What the heck are you talking about?
People only think bad of Bama because even though they have done nothing outside of 1 year since the Bear has been gone they still think they are the dominate program they were during the 70s...I don't know anyone who thinks that Bama is not going in a very positive direction? Whether or not you guys win a NC soon remains to be seen...the facts remains Saban has dropped at least 1 game each year that he shouldn't while at Bama...will he do it this year? I personally don't think so...I think Bama is the best team in football right now...

Based on the Rivals board, it has to be the Kentucky basketball fans. The fans on here though all seem pretty reasonable.

Most of my friends from back home are Auburn fans and I have to act as if I'm expecting Armageddon every season for Alabama, and another 14-0 season for Auburn whenever I'm in a football conversation or else "I'm delusional or a typical 'Bama fan because there's no possible way Alabama will finish any better than 8-5 this year (for various irrelevant reasons) while Auburn has every shot at going undefeated (for various reasons)."
That's the way it's always been and that's precisely what I hear year in and year out.
