Why do Texas fans hate LSU and the SEC so much?

I Trolled their board and there is a lot of hate for LSU and the SEC. We do not even play this team so why are the horns fans hating on LSU and the SEC so much? They talk about how they would beat any SEC champ. The hate for the SEC is vile over there.

CWS......Horns hate being outclassed.
When I have my flag flyin' on my car, I get Hook'em Horns all the time. Like it's relevant.
They are also sore about the talent we take out of Tx.

I hate how Texas fans LOVE to point out they are the "real" UT. I think it's stupid. I can't have a conversation without them bringing up how they are "the real UT". Both teams are UT.

Wait both Texas and Tennessee can be UT but ONLY Southern Cal can be USC? And SC? GFY.

I've seen UT dislike for us way before the CWS. I know they hate Miles so that probably has a lot to do with it. Perrilloux is another factor.

I think that's probably the answer... a lot of resentment towards LSU from Texas seemed to be around before the recent college world series
whether it was lsu winning a NC in 2003 or the championships they won in baseball from the 90s-2000 I'm not sure... but certainly a lot of Texans have a bug up their arse about LSU

They feel that without a doubt, they would beat any team the SEC puts in the MNC game, that it would not even be close.

SEC hate = Texass being sandwiched between 3 SEC teams.
LSU hate = CWS beatdown that pulled the Tigers even with them @ 6 CBB NCs each + LSU being 1st 2-time BCS champs. Also agree with the Miles/Perriloux factors, although Texass is the only B12 team Miles never beat.

In all honesty, it has more to do with LSU alum presence in Texas.
