It's bitterness because the University of Texas and Oklahoma are really the only "premiere" schools in the Big XII at this point. As a longhorn fan, I have realized for awhile how bitter the two schools are that they do not get to play in a "real conference" like the SEC. That being said, UT and OU would probably not go to as many BCS bowls if they were playing SEC conference schedules rather than games against Iowa State, Baylor (though they have improved), and Colorado.

Texas is envious that we have 2 BCS's and they barely have one. Dislike that we get some of the best Texas players -- Adai, Faneca, TT, and Shep, and we beat their arrogant asses in the CWS. SEC is the premier league and the Big 12 with Tx and Ok are not. That does it.

I'd be willing to guess that LSU will gladly continue to take the season ticket money they have gotten from my family and me for 20 years, and I will continue to drive to every home game played in BR. And I will cheer for TX when they don't play us, b/c they pay me enough money to buy LSU season tix and go to every game in Baton Rouge. GFY!
