Dude has issues. Sounds like he's Ole Miss' bitter ex boyfriend.

what a prick, for the record did he have any predictions for the season before this game and what was his opinion on Snead before the season?

Snead is a nice college player, but he has benefited from the same SEC phenomenon that had somehow elevated Ole Miss into the national elite. Had this same Ole Miss team with that same resume been in another league -- say, the ACC, although that's impossible given how Ole Miss' roster was built at Hargrave Military Academy -- the Rebels would have been lucky this preseason to be ranked in the top 20. Seriously. They won nine games last season, true, but they lost an All-American lineman on each side of the ball. Then they opened this season and beat Memphis. Then they beat Southeastern Southeast Louisiana. And that's good enough for the No. 4 ranking in the country? Only if you bow to the SEC, whose hype machine would have you believe that a certain league quarterback walks on water.

This part pretty much slammed the SEC, but the rest was an Ole Miss bash-fest.

Wow did Nutt or Snead sleep with this guys wife? holy crap he was harsh. OM would have crushed USC had Snead completed passes. He is struggling this season that happens but damn.

Doyel is a UF grad but he's like Finebaum for UT. You wished he never graduated from your school.

This has nothing to do with Ole Miss and the world to do with the SEC. Inmy opinion is Ole Miss the #4 team in the country? No. Is LSU the #7 in the country, no. But seriously - the media puts them there then complains and blames the SEC? What horseshite. I guess BYU or Boise State is more deserving, mainly because they are not the SEC. I ususlly like dumping on Ole Miss, but this was uncalled for. USC lost to a team that went 0-12 last year, by you can book it that the media will be yelling for them to get an NC bid if they win out.

frick the sports media.

Am I the only one who thinks he nailed it? Ole Miss has been overrated since winning the Cotton Bowl. I know it was a big win and everything, but Ole Miss was NOT that good last year--they lost to Wake Forest, Vandy, and South Carolina--and two of their best players went to the NFL. With Nutt's ability (or lack thereof) to develop quarterbacks, I didn't think Snead would get any better. I fully expected Ole Miss to disappoint this year and couldn't believe the hype surrounding the program.

And I know that a lot of you thought the same as me, so why are you bashing this writer? He's dead on.

And yes, the SEC has a huge hype machine and Tebow and Snead are shining examples of it. Tebow really is good, but there's been so much hype surrounding him that grown, formerly heterosexual men would probably get on their knees for him now. It's disgusting.
