Auburn's fans showed up in force today, stayed through the torrential downpour and even when WVU came out swinging. I am glad there was a sell out and most people stayed through the rain.

I have to admit, I wimped out on this one. Was the first Auburn home game I've missed since the start of the 2000 season. With the rain like it has been all week, and the construction along 85 south of Atlanta, I just couldn't do it. After last week I was half asleep driving home and tonight I would have been driving into that downpour that has now moved up here.
I'm glad there was such a good turnout and that they stayed after the hour delay.

LSU fans would have stayed home, like the VU game. Students came out.

Just got back from the game. Did the coverage by espn show how damn hard that rain was? It was a great game. Glad to finally get dry.

Fellow Aubbies, thank you for those that sat through that downpour. We needed the crowd for that game and got it. It was damn impressive.
I'm a third generation Aubbie with season tickets since the 50's in the family. Don't make it to many games anymore living out of state - usually just 1-2 a year, but I am damn proud of the showing, the passion, and the intensity that we brought tonight as a crowd, team, and coaches.
