If anyone knows about struggling it is the Ole Miss Rebels.

No doubt about it. The SEC west just became a two horse race - with Bama way out front of the Webels.

Considering after 7 games last season Ole Miss was 3-4 I doubt anyone can make any assumptions based on 1 game.

this.

there is a MOUNTAINOUS TON of variables that go into each game and how they're won, how they're played, and how they're lost... things that can keep teams down, or motivate them. single players may be having a bad night. coaches may not be up to 100%... the other team may really want it. you may have had an off night. literally, the list of variables that can absolutely have an effect on a game is endless.

this is WHY coaching mentally is everything. and there is something major to be said for the team that always comes out with the "W."

sure, there are plenty of times in college football where the better team gets the L... but, in the end.. just goin home with the W is all that matters.

perhaps today was that day for LSU. they did what it took to come home with a W and re-group. a huge learning experience this SHOULD be. coaching should eat this alive and turn this into a million positives.

that being said, i hope LSU forgets all of the things they learn throughout the season when they play us.... of course.

how refreshing that ole miss actually is looking forward to football season again. We all know the rebels will cave in to the pressure.

LSU ran the ball effectively tonight and was very good passing. They have a reason to be excited on offense if the defense can get teams off the field
