according to rivals, tennessee signed 9 players ranked 5.9 or
higher, that is an amzing feat no matter what you think about
kiffen. i don't think saban's inital classes at lsu or bama was
nearly that good, nor can i think of any other coaches which had that inital success in that short a period of time.

Shitty recruiting tactics by the sleezy coaches he hired, and recruiting violations is what you can attribute Kiffen success in recruiting last year.

Yep, they will be on probation by the time Kiffen leaves.

Tennessee hasn't "signed" anyone yet.

If we go on "probation" then Alabama gets the Death Penalty.

Yeah, all of Kiffin's recruiting success can be attributed to the 'oh so sleazy' fog machine violation.

Here is a list of secondary violations reported by SEC schools since January. Schools do not have to make them public which is why you don't see Auburn, Alabama, or Vandy listed.

Tennessee 6
Mississippi 5
LSU 4
Miss State 3
Georgia 3
South Carolina 3
Arkansas 2
Florida 1
Kentucky 0

So, to counter the "sleazy" allegation you post statistics showing Tennessee has committed the most secondary violations, as far as anyone knows?

Barely the most. Not as many as perfect Mark Richt and UGA had last year.

The horrible violations have included accidentally using a dude's name on a radio interview, having a stupid assistant put a guy's name on twitter and removing it soon after, and purposely breaking one by calling Alshon Jeffery to ask him about the stupid "pumping gas" rumor.

If you think any of that helps UT gain an edge in recruiting, your a dumbass. Sorry.

I just think its funny to attribute our recruiting success to sleazy recruiting tactics. The secondary violations are unintentional and don't do anything towards getting a recruit to sign at a school. Yes, TN committed the most but my point was that everyone does it (except KY - but they don't count in football anyway).

I know, and I didn;t actually consider it a serious issue.

Still think Kiffin and Co. are sleazy though IMO.

So what you're saying is Kiffin lied at media days when he said others schools have "as many or more" seconday violations than Tennessee?

No matter how you spin it, Tennessee is at the top of that list. I wouldn't be advertising that.
