Just curious who everyone's favorite QB is at your school. Not basing it on stats but rather on your personal opinion.

For me WAYNE MADKIN
Quarterbacked Mississippi state to 3 consecutive bowl games between 98-2000

Barker led the Crimson Tide to a 35–2–1 (.934) record during his playing career, the best winning percentage of any Alabama quarterback.

and yeah, it's on stats.

Sad, but true.

I wonder what it's like to have a big time talent at QB. Maybe one day soon...

Sims may be that man. I read today where he is measuring in at 6'2'' and 235. Just FYI, He's been calling other recruits across the country including the Scout's top rated WR out of Illinois, Kyle Prater. We are in his top 4 and it's basically because of Sims from what I can tell. After Sims called him, he basically called our coaching staff and said he wanted to visit. Illinois, USC, Oklahoma, and Alabama are his top four.

And now back on topic: Jay Barker for me.

Hines Ward. Took over in 1995 when nos 1 and 2 went down. did a fine job, even with a broken bone in his throwing hand.

This is tough because I remember a little bit about John Bond's time at State. I was a kid. But, the first guy that I saw his entire career was Don Smith. I remember we beat Syracuse at the Carrier Dome and UT in Knoxville in back to back games in 1986.

I would have liked to have had Sleepy Robinson for the last half of the 1992 season instead of the third string QB. Probably the biggest what-might-have been in MSU football history.
