Isn't he just a sophomore?

He can turn it around.

He is a red shirt sophmore, but everything I have heard is he was highly over rated coming out of highschool. Just doesn't have the drive will or talent to compete in the sec.

off the top of my head, probably QB Josh Portis...supposedly the perfect fit to run Meyer's offense.

then this Tebow kid came in...

Demetris Summers - 5-star RB

He was the #2 RB in the nation behind Reggie Bush... thug got kicked out of school before SOS's first season. (Holtz recruit)

Justin Vincent. Sophomore year plus. Jimbo and Vincent had the middle of the field staked out.

Yes, He was pretty much the entire Vigor offense. We held him in check in our regular season matchup and gave them their only loss of the year but he ran wild on us when Vigor beat us in the playoffs on their way to the title game. If I remember right, he hurt his knee during that championship game and was never the same.

Whatever happened to that dude? I remember the coaches said he wasn't mentally tough, but it seemed like he faded into nothing overnight.

Not sure about that. Ryan Perrilloux was the National High School Player of the Year, National USA Today Offensive Player of the Year and the nations #1 prospect by ESPN.
