Just curious how the rest of you see this game turning out. OK State has a high potent offense and it is at their home field, but I personally believe they are a typical Big 12 team with a weak defense. Georgia wins by 10 or 14.

If UGA throws out the same defense they did last year, OSU will put up 50.

Maybe Willie can turn it around this year with more experienced players.

Okie State will win this game.

UGA has a new QB that is going on the road for his first ever start, plus the D will still be horrible under Slick Willie.

Yea OSU has their playmakers back on offense and even in their bowl game the put up over 30. I don't think UGA will be able to score more than 20 because it's so early in the year.

But it's a new season so no one really knows

shite can go south for Georgia real quick this year. That's one hell of "Welcome to 2009" lineup.

I think it's safe to say UGA will be better in the trenches on both sides of the ball, and slightly worse at the skill positions on offense.

I think Okie State wins a close one.

I'll be pulling for UGA to make it look better when we beat them in jax but I think Okie should have them outmatched. I think it will be close though

Okie State has no defense at all...NONE! They would have to score well over 50 to beat Georgia, because they can't stop shite. Oregon beat OK State in a bowl game, so I think Georgia wins a close one.

Same shite we heard about OKIE State when they came to Athens..I think they were calling it the "Greatest Show on Earth" or somthing back then. We win this game..LSU vs UGA will be a battle of unbeatens and a Top 10 matchup.

I've heard that UGA is struggling more to replace Knowshon than it is to replace Stafford.

Probably the case.

Richard Samuel (5 Star #2 Athlete Rivals 2008)
Dontavius Jackson (4 Star Rivals 250 2008)

Both these guys were hurt much of the time. Caleb King (4 Star Rivals 100 2008) and Carlton Thomas (3 Star) were the only truly healthy backs most of the time.

Samuel will get carries next year, he's a good one . Caleb has shown talent..as do the other guys (see their "stars").

We've got legit option in Washaun Ealy (4 Star Rivals 250 2009) coming in the fall.

My bet is King/Samuel split carries (20-30 total) with Thomas and Ealy seeing spot duty (10 or so). We'll have a strong run game behind our OL, but it'll be by comittee.

I would agree on the replacement issues, Cox has seen game time and is a steady hand, he has some solid bail out options in the passing game (lob it to AJ comes to mind). The running game is either hurt or unproven.

As for OK St, they should be loaded for bear for sure, but as someone put it prior, we have gone thru a string of those the last few years with Ok St, Boise, etc and come out ok. I dont think we will win a shootout, so our D and running game are going to have to eat clock and limit the damage.

UGA 27 OK St 21

honestly, i don't think that schedule is very tough. the only game i even think uga would lose is against lsu, and i think they win that one.

uga will have 2-4 losses this year, don't get me wrong, but that part of the schedule isn't particularly intimidating.

also, i may be in the minority in saying that uga has a better team this year.
