Northern Illinois.

We were sitting behind their bench and their players were throwing crap into the stands trying to piss us off. The coaches didn't even stop them.

I would have thrown a brick if I had one handy.

Auburn 10-9, 2004-2005. Terrible. Auburn used this to run the whole damn table, too.

The Citadel.

Jack Crowe was fired the following Monday. Didn't go to another game for 3 years.

1996 Fiesta Bowl (1995 season) v. Nebraska. Tommy Frazier carried 12 defensive guys into the endzone, and he is still running!

2001 v. the Vols. That one still pisses me off! Thanks Al Qaeda!

2000 Quincy Carter throws 5 ints and a VERY talented uga team loses to a usc team that had won only once the previous 2 years.

2005 AU turns a 4th and 18 in the closing seconds into an 80 yd play where the receiver fumbled into the endzone and AU recovered for winning TD.

The 7 overtime loss to Arkansas. That was brutal. When the 4th quarter ended, that was just a sign that 2/3s of the game was over.

Probably the 59-20 loss to Florida in 2007 is the worst that I've actually been at.

The worst I've seen on TV would be Wyoming 2008 or LSU 2001.

No other loss can even be seen in the harsh glare from that debacle....

I haven't read the entire thread, but the 2007 regular season ending loss to Arkansas in 3 OT was the most disgusted I ever left a stadium. I just knew that LSU had blown their shot at the national title, and I would have bet my house that there was no way that they would regroup to beat Tennessee in the SEC title game.....

Then Les told ESPN to "Have a Great Day", and the Tigers did!!!

Football the 7 overtime loss to Arkansas. Score wise it wasn't bad, but I was in school then and knew a few of the players. It really killed the spirit of the team. We were west contenders and went on to lose to Vandy which we should have played earlier that season but that's the year 9-11 happened and it was postponed. They really just stopped trying after that.

Worst loss? It might not be a blowout, but the 27-17 loss to Auburn @ Auburn in 2006 killed me.

Auburn scored one special teams TD on a botched punt, scored one meaningless touchdown as time ran out on a fumble recovery.

We had a safety

Vaughn hit 4/5 field goals.

And of course, the infamous Leak/Blackmon incomplete pass/fumble.

Harvin only had 5 carries for 66 yards, coming back from a sprained ankle.

Unfortunately if you watch your team for a while you will have a long list... for me:

1) shawn alexander and bama just rolling over LSU at home something like 28-0 or 35-0
2) tim couch beating a supposedly good LSU team single handedly
3) quincy carter and champ bailey making play after play against lsu (98 i think)
4) seeing lsu just emotionally collapse (after the bama game) and lose to arkansas last year (esp frustrating because arky had beaten lsu the year before and I expected them to play with motivation)
5) the tennessee katrina game was tough to watch but I understood... hard to have the emotional stamina for a football game with what a lot of the players were dealing with too. I was half upset for the players and half upset for the fans being put in that situation by circumstances beyond their control
6) about every game I saw in the 1998 season I think
