Looks legit
except for the fact that it lists 20 GD teams. There's like 7 or 8 actual "blue bloods". Hell why stop at 20? Why not just list 50?

Wisconsin football was a joke until the 90’s, we can just start right there if we must discuss the above.

This is legitimately one of the worst "blue blood" rankings I've ever seen. No world exists where Alabama is not #1 by a sizable margin. Both Ohio State and Michigan are ranked too high. Miami at #4 is comical. Clemson #12? Oregon #16??????? This is a bad, bad list.

Hard to believe but that now encompasses 1/4 of the history of college football.

I can't fathom why this shite rag wouldn't just title it "top FB programs of all time". They'd get a ton less shite for it, but as it the case with many outlets in 2026 I suppose it's just rage bait to get people clicking.

Or how about clemson being above tennessee
outside of a couple of correct placements it's like they just put names in a hat and drew them at random

The only title that would make this list make any sense at all would be "First 20 College Football Teams the Author Thought Of". Seriously, this is just an awful attempt at a ranking and both the author and the OP should be ashamed of themselves.

Ohio State over Alabama and Michigan?
Alabama has the most national championships.
Michigan has the most wins of any program and holds a 10 win head to head advantage over Ohio State.
What fricking clown came up with this list?

You mean to tell me Ole Miss isn’t top 5 after beating Tulane in the playoffs?!?

Most lists would have ND, Alabama, Michigan and Ohio State as the top 4, with Oklahoma, Texas, Nebraska and USC rounding out the top 8. I guess some lists might now rank Nebraska lower due to their suckage since 2001 and especially since Pelini's firing.
Miami at #4 is a joke. They aren't even the #4 team since the 1980s anymore, with their suckage for about 20 years prior to last year. And they were a total non-entity before the 1980s.

These lists are silly. I view Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State, ND, Texas and OU in at the same level, but if I had to give an edge to one, I'd say Alabama.
Michigan is #1 in total wins. OU in conference titles. Alabama in national titles. USC has to be on that list.

Is Georgia on the list and I'm missing it?
ETA - Oops, I didn't click the picture, but laugh at Georgia behind LSU.
