Congrats to Mercenary Wolverines.

Michigan was 8-24 two years ago and most of the roster left when Juwan Howard was fired.

I believe the announcers said it is the first time a team with an all transfer starting 5 has won a national championship. People will talk about that.

Alijah and Walt were portal guys
I think will Richard was too from a really small school and was on our roster for a few years
This year we had a Princeton transfer and one from Arky as our two main guards
Truthfully we should’ve hit the portal
Harder to fill gaps…but we wasted money on dj Lagway to go 4-8 in football instead
Hopefully we go crazy in the portal this year and load up on guards while bringing back at least 2 (hopefully 3) of chin, Condon and Haugh

This is just the nature of college athletics. Every starter on your team is a mercenary. Don’t confuse it. It is what it is.
I hate it and it really has dampened my love for college athletics. Especially in a state like Alabama where we have no home professional team.

And yet both Arizona and Michigan had starters that transferred FROM Alabama. And Michigan’s all-American forward Lendeborg transferred from University of Alabama-Birmingham.
It is clear that you judge everything you see the world in relation to Alabama.
