Barkley works best when he has a snarky white man studio host to cue him up and interject humor. Nate Burleson is just a braindead cornball. They just resorted to doing the ESPN thing where everybody stands in front of a giant monitor and yells as loud as they can and pace back and forth and touch each other. Last night they had a game where you throw ice cream and cheese slices at a backboard. TNT studio shows are often imitated, never duplicated.
It's hard to imagine that a whole team of studio producers who do this for a living and get paid well could do this god awful poorly.

Real cornball shite. These guys are millionaire ex-professional athletes, yet have to tickle each other & have a good giggle about it bc some female tv producer thinks that's how men interact with each other.

I thought it was just me.....the CBS halftime shows have been absolutely fricking terrible this year. Burleson flat out sucks. They've jumped the shark. I can't remember which game it was, but they had a damn magician in studio at halftime last weekend performing. What the frick are we doing? Its just awful this year.

I've come to the conclusion CBS has actually just re-booted the Cosby Kids for its March Madness TV coverage - it all makes sense -

They’ve had this drone in the studio that starts up about two minutes before the commercial break. You hear this high pitched buzzing going on while the guys are talking about the games all for a 5 second drone shot of…the studio.

I have not watched many segments but the color turtle necks that Barkley wears with those suits are horrendous. And who is the guy on the far left that dresses like a pimp? Telling my age but I saw Kellogg in Mobile when he was at OSU playing South Alabama.
