He did a good job of staying calm. I expected him to lose his shite a few times

The players that was show-boating for the cameras instead of lining up for the last play made himself look like a clown. AJ was justifiably losing it pretty good about that. I would have too. AJ had to burn a timeout to not get a penalty and it gave the other time to get a play together. Totally inexcusable.

I do wonder what changed his calculus to football coach versus Lieutenant Governor. Somebody is throwing political money at sports figures for office in Alabama.

Pearl and Finebaum both flirted with US Senate.

Tuberville leaving Senate to run for governor.

Strange days indeed. Most peculiar.

AJ is loved in this state but he isn't ready for the meat grinder of politics. The fact that he hadn't voted in the last several state elections would have been pounced on.

Maybe one day, but he isn't ready for that yet.

I like AJ but he would’ve been an absolute disaster as Lt. Governor. It’s a job that has real responsibilities that require knowledge to pull the levers of government. The LG presides of the Senate for God’s sake.

It’s one thing to run for Congress or State Legislature and be a vote, it’s another to actually be in a leadership role.

If DA Tubberville can get elected and be a politician, anyone can.

I swear some of y'all don't even listen to yourselves.

If you like Tubberville, I can't help you. He is a turd. But I'm not going to believe McCarron couldn't do the job.

Didn't like him as a football coach, but he is objectively one of the best representatives we've ever had in Congress. Wish he would stay there instead of taking the governor's seat, but I'm sure he'll do great with that too.
