I went looking for data to trash this hire, but on the surface it seems legit.

Goes back to what I said about overseas recruiting in the Recruit thread. Going to be a big emphasis in this class.

I said in an earlier thread somewhere that SP needs to strike it rich in the Euro market because he’s gonna have a tough time selling his ‘vision’ to American recruits

It’s more about money than anything, although I have heard he’s getting a substantial bump In funding this offseason vs last.
You can get a euro player who’s played 2 years of “professional basketball” for 250-500k
Where an American with the same skill set is going to cost double that.
